It’s amazing the pressure the society can place on a single woman who is in her thirties and some single ladies just can’t handle the pressure sometimes.

1. LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS:

When I say lower your expectations, I don’t mean lower your standards which are important. By lowering your expectations, I mean opening your mind up to the possibility that what you think you want is not what you are going to get.

2. YOU NEED TO COMPROMISE:

When it comes to long-term commitment with a man, you need to realise you need to compromise. If you can’t compromise, you might have issues getting a long-term commitment.

3. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PRINCE CHARMING:

It’s cool to think of prince charming as a teenager but you should understand in the real world there is no such thing as prince charming in the real world. Every man comes with his luggage and you just have to accept that. You need to also know you also come with your luggage too so why expect him to be perfect?

4. CHEMISTRY SHOULD BE YOUR PRIORITY:

It’s sad when I hear single ladies in their thirties complain about the lack of decent men because they all want a man who is tall, has a nice ride, earns over $60,000 a year and has no children from a previous relationship.  The chemistry between you and him should be your priority because that’s what you would need if you need a long-term commitment.

5. NO MR. RIGHT ONLY MR RIGHT HERE:

If you are searching for Mr. Right, you need to stop searching because there is no Mr. Right out there and the earlier you tell yourself that, the better. Stop searching for Mr. Right and go for Mr. Right Here.

There is nothing wrong in lowering your expectations because there isn’t really any perfect man out there. You need a man who is going to try his best to be there for you and you should expect him to come with flaws too. It’s time to be realistic about the future.
