Someone asked a question some years ago that I thought we should discuss today.
"Can
your baby get pregnant if you have sex while pregnant? Like if you are
pregnant with a baby girl, and you have sex while you are pregnant, can
the sperm go up in there and impregnate the baby?" Naija Juice asked on a Yahoo forum.
Well, we got many answers from very mischievous people.
"The
baby can get pregnant only if it's a female. If you suspect that your
baby is pregnant, try not to have sex again. You run the risk of getting
your baby's baby pregnant and that can lead to complications like an
infinite loop," Versaiteis answered.
"Of course! You are supposed to wear two condoms so that you don't get either of them pregnant," someone responded.
Another respondent, Stylish, added a twist.
"You don't have sex while pregnant... And yes your baby will become pregnant and probably die of complications...." she says.
So,
there you have it women. Don't have sex while you are pregnant until
you are sure that your baby is male and won't get pregnant...
Are you scared?
Don't
be, I was joking. We all know that a woman can only get pregnant after
puberty which usually comes around a girl's preteen to teenage years.
But there are two things that could happen to a woman during pregnancy which you might want to watch out for.
Firstly, you could get pregnant while being pregnant.
"In
an odd phenomenon known as superfetation, a pregnant woman releases an
egg a few weeks into her pregnancy. The second egg is fertilized, and
the woman is then pregnant with two babies simultaneously," Baby Center wrote on its website.
You could also have a set of twins with different fathers.
A
similar phenomenon to superfetation is superfecundation when two eggs
released during the same cycle are fertilized at separate times.
This
means that if you have sex with another man while pregnant for one, you
could end up with two babies with different fathers - two of your eggs
get fertilized by two different fathers within the same ovulation
period.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! or is there anybody that thinks otherwise?
